Officially opened for business on Election Day, Nov. 3, 2019, Gov't Taco believes that our right to possess and enjoy tacos shall not be infringed. From the humorous and quirky menu items to the play on politics, like the Magna Carrot and Phillibuster, to government conspiracy theories throughout the decor, Gov’t Taco is a completely unique experience in food fare.

I entered this project after the initial brand set had been designed for a Gov't Taco kiosk, and built additional elements to flesh out the governmental theme as the restaurant moved to its own brick and mortar location at 5261 Government Street. Featured elements include exterior signage and murals, rotational tv signage, coasters, menu design, tap handle design, political buttons, and t-shirt swag.
